Earned his second win of the season May 18 against Kansas State by tossing 2 2/3 of relief and allowing only one earned run ... pitched a career high three innings of shutout baseball against UT Arlington on April 15 ... threw 2 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball in relief agianst Rice on April 8 ... pitched 2 2/3 innings (tying his career high) striking out one and allowing zero base runners against Kansas March 14 ... set new career highs in innings pitched (2 2/3) and strikeouts (4) while allowing no runs and picking up his first collegiate win against Texas State on March 11 ... threw four scoreless innings in the Hawai'i series (March 7-9) yielding no hits, one walk and striking out two ... had four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings of work against Cal in the opening series of the season February 14-16.


Appeared in six games as a reliever with 2 2/3 innings pitched … did not allow a run during the season … pitched one scoreless inning April 26 at Baylor with one walk … threw 2/3 of an inning with a strikeout at Minnesota ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester.
